Bad Friday

I just learned today that the Commission on Judicial Conduct DISMISSED my complaint against Judge Hamm. (Largely without comment on any my substantial claims.) So I guess suborning ex parte communication, suspending the Rules of Evidence and Rules of Procedure, etc, etc, are okay. My, we are a godless (lawless) nation.

Seems fitting I learned this on Good Friday. These are (largely) the same people (i.e. godless Pharisees) who murdered my Lord 2000 years ago this day as a political expediency. Not much has changed since then.

Thankfully there is a Final Judge and a Final Judgment. I just have to be patient.

Help me help God

This lawsuit has never been about money. It's about principle. Still, I'm asking for $100,000. But not for me.

In my Application for Default, I asked the court to direct Yavapai County to pay three Christian Charities $33,333.33 each.

It turns out that Yavapai County never filed a timely answer to this complaint. Despite a few hints from Judge Sedwick to opposition's lawyer on how to cure this and prevail against me, the Lord frustrated the attorney and Yavapai County still failed to respond. Finally the judge relented and I entered a Motion for Default Judgement.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake that most pro se litigants (and, as I've found, even professional attorneys) make. I forgot to list Yavapai County as a Defendant in my Count of "Failure to Supervise." (i.e., "Failure to state a claim." So the judgment was set aside.

This defect should be easy to cure and what we're arguing in the Ninth right now is whether this pro se litigant should be allowed to amend his complaint. Case law in the Ninth is very strong that "dismissal is a harsh remedy," especially for the pro se litigant. In fact, when I made the EXACT same mistake in my other civil right lawsuit (which I "won,"), the judge in the same federal district DID allow me to amend my complaint.

So, if any lawyers want to help, you'd be doing God's work.
